Tull rose to prominence within the entertainment industry as the founder of the successful film production company Legendary Entertainment. After selling his share of the company Tull decided to return to music and in 2010 formed what was to be the second incarnation of Ghost Hounds.

Tull had previously started the band in 2000 but due to the success of the production company he sidelined his musical career to concentrate on film. After deciding to relaunch his musical ambitions he went into the studio with Kevin Bowe (ex-Lynyrd Skynyrd) and David Grisson (ex-John Mellancamp and Allman Brothers) and the three musicians co-wrote a selection of tracks.
