Boeing - Boeing is set in 1960s Paris and follows the misadventures of protagonist Bernard as he attempts to keep three flight attendants from realizing that he has promised to marry all of them. Complications arise when his old friend Roland comes to visit, and various factors lead the three attendants to visit Paris simultaneously.
The play premiered at London’s West End in 1962 and starred David Tomlinson. A runaway success, Boeing - Boeing ran at the West End for seven years before opening on Broadway in 1965. In the early 2000s, the play was revived through a notable production in Singapore, then revived again in London and on Broadway in 2007 and 2008, respectively. The latter production was nominated for a slew of Tony Awards and won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Revival of a Play.
