Yard Act Concert Tickets
Listen to the intricate grooves you can enjoy with Yard Act tickets have them growing into a massive musical force. With an intelligent and sarcastic charm, Yard Act creates jams that fit into genres like post-punk and no-wave with a funky indie rock core. Rising out of Leeds, Yorkshire, United Kingdom, Yard Act keeps its finger on the pulse of society with its wild tunes lined with political satire. The origin of the band came from James Smith (vocals) of Post War Glamour Girls and Ryan Needham (bass) of Menace Beach wanting to create a group together. With their groups previously collaborating on a split EP, the pair started Yard Act in 2019.
With Sammy Robinson (guitar) and George Townend (drums) of Treeboy & Arc rounding out the rest of the original group, Yard Act tickets started to spring up as the group released singles. The group’s first four singles were combined to create the band’s debut EP Dark Days in 2021. A fan base swiftly started to rise as listeners were drawn to the vibrant instrumentals and cleverly delivered lyrics about social class and capitalism. In January of 2022 Yard Act released their critically acclaimed debut full-length album entitled The Overload.
