For The Country Music Fans
The biggest names in country music all seem headed for one place this year: Las Vegas. Garth Brooks will return for his sold-out stay at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in November. Brooks’ residency is scheduled through the end of December and he has already teased a group of high-profile guests that will join him on stage. Luke Bryan will make a quick stop in August at Resorts World, then return in December for what he calls his final shows. Keith Urban will continue his residency at Planet Hollywood before Miranda Lambert takes over in late November.
For The Main Characters
Adele has extended her first Las Vegas residency with 32 additional shows scheduled through the summer of 2024 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The highly-anticipated Weekends with Adele was delayed for several months but has proven to be a success with capacity crowds filling the intimate venue. Lady Gaga will start her “Jazz and Piano” residency in late August and Australian legend Kylie Minogue will be the first to perform at The Venetian’s Voltaire starting in November.
U2 will also grace Las Vegas with their own residency U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at the Sphere. The limited engagement that begins Sept. 29 at the Sphere at the Venetian will celebrate the band’s 1991 album, Achtung Baby.
For The Family
One of the most popular shows on The Strip features the Blue Man Group at the Luxor Hotel and Casino. This all-ages act combines music, comedy and vibrant color into an unforgettable experience. The Blue Man Group started its first of several Vegas residencies in 2000 and now performs two shows each night in its own Blue Man Theater at The Luxor Hotel.
Older kids may enjoy an illusionist like Criss Angel, who performs his Mindfreak show at Planet Hollywood, or David Copperfield at the MGM Grand. V The Ultimate Variety Show is another engaging option with a rotating cast of acrobats, comics, contortionists and other entertainers. You can also catch V at Planet Hollywood.
For The Cirque Enthusiasts
Cirque du Soleil has six enchanting shows planned for Las Vegas this year including crowd favorites like The Beatles LOVE and Michael Jackson ONE. You can find those at The Mirage Hotel and Casino and Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, respectively. “O” at Bellagio Hotel & Casino is another popular production that exemplifies the beauty of water. The other three shows will be Mad Apple at New York New York Hotel & Casino, KÀ at MGM Grand and Mystère at Treasure Island.
For The Sports Fanatics
If you prefer a game to a show, you might want to plan your visit around the NFL Pro Bowl Games on Feb. 5 or the NCAA Men’s Basketball West Regional and National Invitational Tournament at the end of March. The first will be played at Allegiant Stadium, which is home to the Las Vegas Raiders. The latter two will take place at T-Mobile Arena, which is home to the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights. The WNBA All-Star Game will also be in Las Vegas on July 15. Vegas is home to the 2022 champion Aces.
T-Mobile Arena is also set to host UFC 285 in March as well as the PBR Team Series Championship in October. Another exciting, but expensive option coming to Sin City is the Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix which is scheduled from Nov. 16 to 18.
