Hit Me Hard and Soft
Eilish has been gradually rebranding herself ahead of this new album release. Her first album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, brought her signature neons and grungy driving beats. Then, Happier Than Ever, brought a softer and more elegant aesthetic. Her 2024 album will again be produced by her brother Finneas O’Connell.
She has also contributed a pair of award-winning songs to soundtracks for No Time to Die and Barbie. Eilish’s title track for the James Bond film won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Her song “What Was I Made For” from Barbie earned an Academy Award for Best Original Song and a Grammy Award for Song of the Year, as well as a Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media.
