The 2024 NFL schedule will begin Sept. 5 with the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Baltimore Ravens as they begin the hunt for their third consecutive title. Each team will play 18 regular season games for a total of 272 matchups on the NFL schedule.
Super Bowl LIX
Super Bowl LIX is scheduled for Feb. 9, 2025, at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, La. The game was initially awarded to New Orleans in 2018, but after the NFL expanded the regular-season schedule to include 18 games in 2021, a scheduling conflict arose with the city’s iconic Mardi Gras celebrations. Super Bowl LVIII was reassigned to Las Vegas.
2024 International Series
The NFL will play five international games in three countries. The first will be a Week 1 game between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles in São Paulo, Brazil. It will mark the league’s first South American game.
London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host the NFL in Weeks 5 and 6. The first matchup will feature the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings. The Jacksonville Jaguars will face the Chicago Bears in the second. Then, in Week 7, the Jaguars will head to Wembley Stadium to host the New England Patriots.
The final international game will take place on Nov. 10 with the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers playing at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.
Holiday Games
The NFL is known for its holiday schedules which feature high-profile matchups on Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday and Christmas Day. The Thanksgiving triple-header will include the Bears, Detroit Lions, Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins and Packers. For the second consecutive season, the NFL will also have a Black Friday game. That will be an AFC West rivalry game between the Las Vegas Raiders and Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs will also play on Christmas Day in Pittsburgh against the Steelers. Then, the Baltimore Ravens will face the Houston Texans in the second game. Both will be streamed on Netflix.
