The National Football League is switching things up for its annual all-star celebration. The weekend of events is usually capped by a tackle football game between the AFC and NFC squads, but this year, a week of programming dubbed the 2023 Pro Bowl Games will take its place. The final event will be a series of flag football games between Pro Bowl players on Feb. 5, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev.

Skills Competitions Schedule
The Pro Bowl Games start on Feb. 2 with a full slate of events including Epic Pro Bowl Dodgeball, which is a multi-round tournament featuring four teams of five players. The first two games are intrasquad matches with the AFC offense facing the AFC defense and the NFC offense battling the NFC defense. Winners will advance to the championship.
Next, 16 players will test themselves in a three-part elimination challenge called Lightning Round. Events include a water balloon toss, catching punts from a JUGS machine and aiming at targets to dump water buckets on opposing coaches. Only one player will win.
Other first-day events include Longest Drive, where four players from each conference will test their golf game to see who can hit the ball furthest off a tee, an accuracy competition between the quarterbacks called Precision Passing presented by EA SPORTS Madden NFL 23 Mobile, and the first round of Best Catch presented by Uber Eats. The final event will include two players from each conference showing off their highlight-worthy moves.
Sunday brings the finals of Best Catch, as well as Gridiron Gauntlet, Kick Tac Toe and Move the Chains. Gridiron Gauntlet is a four-part obstacle race, Kick Tac Toe is a competition between each team’s kicker and punter to claim spaces on a giant Tic-Tac-Toe board, and Move the Chains is a weighted wall pull.
In the final event of the weekend, the AFC and NFC squads will meet in three seven-on-seven flag football games. The winners of each skills event are awarded three points toward the overall score which will be combined with points from the first two flag football games on Sunday. The flag football games are worth six points each.
