After defeating Oregon in the 2023 Pac-12 Football Championship Game, second-ranked Washington is headed to the College Football Playoff. The Huskies (13-0) lead a group of eight Pac-12 teams that will participate in bowl games marking a successful final season of the current conference lineup.
Second-ranked Washington is just the third Pac-12 team to qualify for the CFP following the 2014 Oregon and 2016 Husky squads. They will face No. 3 Texas (12-1) in the Allstate Sugar Bowl for a chance to make it into the national championship game.
UCLA, California, Utah, USC, Arizona, Oregon State and Oregon are the other seven teams that will continue into the postseason. We will dive deeper into their bowl game assignments below.

How Much Do Bowl Games Cost?
Bowl game tickets typically start around $30 for seats further away from the field. If you want to be closer to the field or up in a suite, tickets can cost several hundred dollars. The price will also depend on the matchup. For example, if you want to see one of the New Year’s Six games or a CFP Semifinal, those tickets will likely be more expensive since the game is considered higher quality.

Team Previews
UCLA (7-5) will play Mountain West champion Boise State in the Starco Brands LA Bowl hosted by Gronk. This is the Bruins’ third consecutive bowl appearance and 39th overall bowl invitation. They boast the nation’s top-ranked rushing defense which allowed just 69.6 yards per game. The Bruins ranked 11th in total defense, allowing 299 yards per game.
Cal (6-6) is set to make its first bowl game appearance since 2019. The Bears will face Texas Tech in the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl. This will be their 25th bowl game in program history. The Bears also have a stout defense, tying for first in the nation with 14 fumbles recovered and second in turnovers gained.
Utah (8-4) is headed to its 17th bowl game under coach Kyle Whittingham and third consecutive appearance. The Utes will face Northwestern in the SRs Distribution Las Vegas Bowl. Utah has an 11-5 record in bowl games tying Whittingham for third in victories among active FBS coaches. The Utes rank first in the FBS in time of possession at 34:03 and finished the regular season in the top 10 for third down, first down and rushing defense.
USC (7-5) will make its 57th all-time bowl appearance when they face Louisville in the DIRECTV Holiday Bowl. This will be the first-ever matchup between the two squads. The Trojans are led by defending Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams who passed for 30 touchdowns and scored 11 more on the ground.
No. 14 Arizona (9-3) will face No. 12 Oklahoma in the Valero Alamo Bowl. This will be the 22nd bowl game appearance for the Wildcats who are in the middle of a successful rebuild after going 1-11 in 2021. They won six straight games to finish the season to earn their first bowl invitation since 2017.
No. 19 Oregon State (8-4) will make its third appearance in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl as they face No. 16 Notre Dame. The Beavers posted their third consecutive winning record in 2023 and finished 5-4 in conference play. Interim coach Jonathon Smith will lead Oregon State into their bowl game before Trent Bray takes over full-time next season.
No. 8 Oregon (11-2) will play in its 14th New Year’s Six bowl game and 27th overall as the Ducks face undefeated No. 23 Liberty. This will be the first meeting between the two programs. Heisman finalist Bo Nix leads the nation with 336 completions and is tied for the FBS lead with 40 passing touchdowns.
