Geraci went on to study at both the Berklee College of Music and Skidmore College, and after establishing himself in the local music scene got a job opening for Muddy Waters. He was soon discovered by Sugar Ray Norcia, with whom he formed Sugar Ray & the Bluetones.
In 1999 Geraci was featured on Sugar Ray Norcia’s Superharps album, which would go on to earn a nod for the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album. In 2015 the pianist released his solo album Fifty Shades of Blue, which garnered Geraci four separate Blues Award nominations.
