Men’s lacrosse at West Point dates back to 1907, when Army played a game against Stevens Tech, with the cadets winning 3-1. The game was only played sporadically at West Point until 1921 when a permanent team was established. The team had a winning streak of 33 winning seasons, starting in 1922. In 1923, the team went 8-1-1 and was declared national champions by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.
