Autopsy Concert Tickets
Rock the boat and hop in the mosh pit with Autopsy tickets. Autopsy is a death metal band from California formed by Eric Cutler and Chris Reifert in 1987. Other members include Greg Wilkinson and Danny Coralles. They are known for their heavily distorted sound and primal, aggressive vocals.
Autopsy came together in the late ‘80s following the breakup of the metal band Death. With the addition of Coralles in 1988 Autopsy recorded their demo Critical Madness, which saw them signed to Peaceville Records the following year. The band would release their first full-length album Severed Survival through the label later in 1989.
Severed Survival and its follow-up Mental Funeral would prove formative influences on the evolution of the death metal genre, establishing the group’s signature slow and atmospheric sound. In the 90s Autopsy would take a turn toward a more punk rock style, a change most apparent on their 1995 album release.
Following the release in 1995, Autopsy disbanded. Despite members’ claims denying a possible reunion, the band reformed in 2009 and continue to record and tour. They remain regarded as one of death metal’s pioneering groups. Buy Autopsy tickets today to see these groundbreaking metalheads perform live in concert.
