Little Blue Crunchy Thing released their debut album Rhetoric in 1994, though the release drew little commercial and critical attention. It would take until their third album, Swarm, for the group to find mainstream success. Critics hailed the band’s facility in different styles, as well as their use of a wide array of instruments.
Many of the members of the original lineup have gone on to enjoy successful solo careers, with Tabakin starting the All Fours group and Ken Fitzimmons leading the Celtic rock band The Kissers.
