With exciting new songs like “2020” and “Music Won’t Save You,” the band was praised for the compelling nature of the material and was longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize. They collaborated with Grammy-winning producer John Congleton for their 2016 album, Hold/Still, which the UK’s Rough Trade included in the top 30 on their list of Albums of the Year. After signing with Joyful Noise Recordings, they released 2021’s The Witness, collaborating again with Congleton on the electronic-tinged tracks.
