Topeka Tropics Football Tickets
See one of arena football’s newest arrivals with Topeka Tropics tickets. The Topeka Tropics are a professional indoor football team founded in 2021 as a CIF expansion team in Topeka, Kansas. They compete within the Champions Indoor Football League and play home games out of Topeka’s Stormont Vail Events Center. The Tropics are the third arena football team to play out of Topeka following the Topeka Knights, who played from the late 90s to the early 2000s, and the Kansas Koyotes, who played from the mid-2000s to the early 2010s.
At the end of 2021, the Champions Indoor Football League announced the formation of an expansion team in Topeka and appointed J.R. Bond as the team’s owner. Bond also owns the Sioux City Bandits arena football team. After a Topeka-wide “name the team” contest, Bond selected the name Tropics for the team. Though Topeka is far from a tropical environment, the name was meant to symbolize how the team will be unconventional. By 2022 former Arena Football League player Tyrus Jackson was named head coach. The Tropics’ team colors are white, orange and blue. Grab your Topeka Tropics tickets here for a chance to see this determined group of athletes hit the field.
