Garrison Keillor Tour Tickets
Tap into the oldest tradition known to man with Garrison Keillor tickets as he captivates you with his impeccable storytelling abilities. It's hard to believe he has been doing this for over thirty years, and never repeats a story! He is clearly a genius with his range and stamina being absolutely incredible. He has the genuine wisdom of the likes of Mark Twain. Even Time Magazine has called him the funniest man in America.
Garrison Keillor was born in Anoka, Minnesota on August 7, 1942, and is an author, humorist, and radio personality. As a child, Garrison had one wish: to be on the radio. His first broadcast took place when he was only 12 years old; his family's grain elevator went up in flames and Keillor called it into Minneapolis' WLOL with his brother's toy telephone! While working on his Bachelor's degree at Harvard, Keillor took a job as an overnight DJ at the college radio station WHA. He wrote and read poetry on-air for 11 years before eventually being fired! When he was just 22 years old, Garrison took over "A Prairie Home Companion" from its creator in 1974; it quickly became one of Minnesota's most popular shows.
It's time to see what everyone is talking about with Garrison Keillor tickets. See why even singer Tom Flannery wrote a song about him called "I Want a Job Like Garrison Keillor's." The television show The Simpson's even parodied him. His voice is something that will live in your minds forever, along with his wonderfully hilarious stories that feel like your own!
