ACC Basketball Tournament 2024 Schedule

14 out of the 15 ACC member universities compete in the annual New York Life ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament. This tournament is held in March and the winner advances into the NCAA Tournament with an automatic bid. The tournament is a single-elimination tournament and is held over five consecutive days, usually with the first round starting on Tuesday. The first round of the tournament features four teams who have been seeded 11-14. Teams that are seeded 1-4 receive double-round byes and start playing during the quarterfinals, usually held on Thursday. The ACC championship game is held in the evening on Saturday. Due to the ongoing coronavirus, the tournament schedule ended during the second round of the 2020 ACC Tournament. The upcoming ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament is scheduled to start in mid-March. ACC Basketball Tournament Locations

The 2020 tournament was held at the Greensboro Coliseum. Since the tournament had to be canceled early, the coliseum will host the 2023 ACC Tournament. This indoor stadium is in Greensboro, North Carolina, and has a seating capacity of 23,000. The Coliseum is divided into two tiers of available seating. The 2021 ACC Tournament will be held at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. This 20,656-seat indoor arena is home to the NBA Washington Wizards. This sports complex features multiple suites including the Lexus Suite Level and loge boxes.

The Barclays Center in Brooklyn is home to the Brooklyn Nets and will host the 2022 ACC Tournament. This 17,732-seat arena opened in 2012. The team benches are in front of sections 7 and 9.
