There are now two live bears, Judge Joy and Judge Lady, who currently live in the Bill and Eva Williams Bear Habitat. This opened in 2005 and was licensed as a Class C Zoo by the USDA. Baylor has four team national championships with three coming from the Lady Bears Basketball team; their last championship came in 2019 when they defeated Norte Dame University in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. The Baylor Bears men’s tennis squad has one championship. Robert Griffin III won the 2011 Heisman Trophy in college football.
