John began his career as a DJ in 2015 when he debuted his first remix for "Death Ray Shake & Scribe & Savage – Not Many If Any." He released his first EP, Black Mamba/Koji, the following year.

He also released three new remixes, "Crooked Colours – I C Light," "Slander & Sad The Sky featuring JT Roach – Potions" and "Rynx Featuring Kiesza – All For You." 2021 saw the release of four more Blanke singles and one remix.
