Get Creed tickets now to see an amazing performance live by a great entertainer. Creed was an American alternative rock band formed in Seattle, Wash., in 1993 by singer and guitarist Scott Stapp, guitarist Mark Tremonti and Brian Brasher, bassist Brian Marshall and percussionist Scott Phillips. They began performing regionally and after Brasher left in 1995 they continued as a quartet.
In 1997, Creed released their debut album My Own Prison which peaked at No. 22 on the Billboard 200. It featured the hit single "What's This Life For" which topped Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs Chart and went to No. 10 on the Alternative Songs Chart. Other popular hits from the album included the title track which peaked at number two on the mainstream chart and number seven on the alternative chart, "One", which went to number two on both charts and "Torn" which reached number three on the Alternative Chart. Creed's 1999 album Human Clay topped the Billboard 200 and produced hit singles including "With Arms Wide Open," "Higher" and "What If".
Their 2001 release Weathered featured the instant mainstream hit "My Sacrifice" which reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100. When Creed broke up in 2004, they released a Greatest Hits album, which peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard 200. The band's members pursued solo careers until 2009, when Creed announced that they would reunite for a tour and another album, making a surge of Creed tickets in demand.
Full Circle (2009) topped the Hard Rock, Top Rock and Alternative Albums charts and went to number two on the Billboard 200. It featured the track "Overcome," which reached No. 4 on the Mainstream Rock Chart. Creed went on to tour internationally, but growing internal strife brought about the announced dissolution of the band in 2015. Their compilation album titled With Arms Wide Open: A Retrospective (2015) made it to No. 12 on the Hard Rock Chart that year. To the excitement of their fans, Creed announced in 2023 that they would be embarking on "The Summer of '99 Tour" in 2024, joined by acts like 3 Doors Down, Daughtry and others.
