In the band’s early days, they fronted the metalcore scene in Chicago along with a few other bands who are signed now as well.

Although the band was established in 2003, they didn’t settle on their name until 2007. Before that they went through several name changes including Diminished, Your Heart Engraved, and Rosecrance. The name they finally stuck with comes from the tale of the Egyptian god Osiris and his son Horus. This tribute speaks to their being the quintessential deathcore band.
