In 1988, the band scored their first number-one hit, “The Flame,” from their tenth project, Lap of Luxury.

They have sold more than 20 million albums worldwide, and touring members have included Robin Zander, Bun E. Carlos, Tom Petersson and frontman Nielson. During the 1990s and 2000s, they recorded albums like Busted, featuring the single” Can’t Stop Falling In Love,” and The Latest, which received three out of four stars from the Chicago Tribune.
