DCI - Drum Corps International Tickets

Drum Corps International is based out of Indianapolis, Indiana, and was founded in 1971 as a sanctioning body to govern junior drum and bugle corps competitions. Drum and bugle corps perform musical marching performances featuring brass, percussion and electronic instruments, along with a color guard performing to the music. DCI provides a standard rules set for competitions that are hosted throughout the United States and Canada.
The highlight of the DCI schedule is the Drum Corps International World Championships held annually at Lucas Oil Stadium. The inaugural event was held in 1972 and was won by the Anaheim Kingsmen. Since that time, the world championships have expanded to multiple classes of competition. The World Class is the premier division of competition in DCI and has mostly been dominated by four drums and bugle corps, the Blue Devils, The Cadets, The Cavaliers and the Santa Clara Vanguard. How much are DCI tickets?
DCI tickets will generally start at prices around $30 to $60. Major events such as the DCI World Championships will have more expensive tickets. The finals of the DCI World Championships will have tickets starting in the range of $50 to $160 depending on the seating location.
DCI 2024 Dates & Schedule
The DCI schedule takes place during the summer months. Marching competitions begin in June and end with the World Championships during mid-August. The schedule typically features 20 days of competition with events being hosted at well-known stadiums like the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Camping World Stadium in Orlando and the Alamodome in San Antonio. DCI events are typically held over the weekend on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, but some events will also be scheduled during the week.
When do DCI tickets go on sale?
Tickets for DCI competitions usually go on sale in December. Drum Corps International will announce their season schedule in November, which is then followed by the ticket sales. Be sure to score your DCI tickets at TicketSmarter as soon as they go on sale!
