With a sound that is reminiscent of 60’s psychedelic rock on songs like “Tentpole Shangrila,” Djo manages to create songs you might find at the original Woodstock. Dreamy guitar riffs jangle on as fluttery lyrics float over the top and the harmonies come together on each song. Unlike many other actors turned musician stories of the past Djo tickets are actually pretty great as Joe Keery displays his multiple talents.

Keery kept Djo a secret as he developed his sound in-between days on the sets of his different acting gigs. Eventually, the noise was too loud to keep under wraps and Twenty Twenty was released not long after. As a band member before finding television success, Djo is the laidback dizzying psychedelia forming underneath Keery’s screenplays. Drawing influence from artists like The Beatles, Twin Peaks and Justice, experiencing the Djo sound live is like nothing else. Regardless of when Joe’s acting career ends, Djo could end up being eternal.
