In Jericho’s own words, the group is known for their brand of metal that sounds like “if Metallica and Journey had a bastard child". In 2005, the band released their first full-length album focused on all original material, All That Remains, and has since been focused primarily on writing and recording their own material.

In 2009, Fozzy signed a record deal with Riot! Entertainment to release their fourth album, Chasing the Grail, in which the lead single “Martyr No More” became the theme song for the WWE Royal Rumble event.
