Her debut EP was a mix of blues and indie rock that was a culmination of her own personal journey.

Her 2020 album Ruthless featured more of the same blues and indie rock. The lead single, “The Rush,” became an instant radio-hit in Canada. It broke the radio play record on three separate rock radio stations in Canada. JJ Wilde likes to let loose on her albums and in concert.
