Though vocalist Glenn and guitarist Allen were the founders of the group, Neon Trees’ distinctive sound was created upon the addition of bassist Branden Campbell and drummer Elaine Bradley. While there was a lineup of Neon Trees before Campbell and Bradley joined the outfit, they were undoubtedly part of the group the evening Ronnie Vannucci Jr. of The Killers saw the band perform at a small Las Vegas club.

Little did the group know, but Neon Trees tickets were about to become a highly-sought-after commodity. The Killers brought the band on tour as an opening act in 2008, exposing the Trees to many new fans. The single “Animal” off of Neon Trees’ debut major label album Habits was a radio darling in 2010 thanks to its infectious pop-rock energy. The group’s following two albums, Picture Show and Pop Psychology, only cemented their reputation as high-energy pop-rockers with something to say. Thankfully, after a years-long hiatus, the group returned in 2019 with I Can Feel You Forgetting Me. It seems that Neon Trees are back and just as exciting as ever.
