Robert Jon and The Wreck first came together in Southern California in 2011 and quickly developed a devoted regional following for their soaring guitar riffs, rich harmonies and catchy, fun-filled grooves. The band released their debut album Fire Started later that year, which featured production by Dale Becker and Michael Vail Blum. 

Robert Jon and The Wreck garnered the most attention, however, for their sophomore release Rhythm of the Road. Rhythm of the Road was a runaway success, earning the band nods for the Orange County Music Awards for Best Rock and Best Blues Album. They would take home the award for Best Live Band. Robert Jon and The Wreck have since toured widely across Europe, giving a celebrated performance at the Moulin Blues Fest in particular.
