Both brothers had begun playing guitar and writing songs before they were teenagers, and in its early days, The Brothers Comatose played covers of songs by artists like Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin.

After filling out the lineup, the band released its debut album Songs From the Stoop in 2010. They earned rave reviews from critics for their creative synergy, charismatic vocals and instrumental prowess. With the release of three more albums in the late 2010s, The Brothers Comatose cemented their place as one of the hottest new artists in bluegrass.

Since their debut release, the band has performed at a slew of prominent events including the High Sierra Music Festival and Kate Wolf Music Festival, among others. They have toured with high-profile groups like Lake Street Drive, the Yonder Mountain String Band and The Devil Makes Three.
