In the years that followed his music saw extensive use in film, most notably in Jacques Audiard’s Rust and Bone, Pedro Almodovar’s The Skin I Live In and Oliver Stone’s Savages. Trentemoller has been widely praised for his minimalist yet cinematic synthwave style as well as his incorporation of influences as varied as Depeche Mode and My Bloody Valentine.
