Their music is heavily based on improvisation and incorporates several genres, including reggae, jazz and funk. Twiddle itself was formed in 2004 at Castleton State College in Vermont. Composed of vocalist and guitarist Mihali Savoulidis, bassist Zdenek Gubb, keyboardist Ryan Dempsey and drummer Brook Jordan, Twiddle began touring as early as 2005. Their first album, Natural Evolution of Consciousness, was released in 2007 and featured songs such as “The Catapillar” and “Jamflowman.”

Many more jam band fans bought Twiddle tickets as the band began to rack up a resume of playing some of the country’s finest venues. From the 9:30 club in Washington, DC to Red Rocks in Morrison, CO, Twiddle jammed their way into the hearts of many. Between 2007 and 2018, the group released six albums and surely has plans to do much more.
