With a storied history stretching back more than eight decades, the YMBL Rodeo is one of the largest rodeos in the entire state.

The inaugural Young Men’s Business League Rodeo was held in 1940 out of Beaumont’s Ford Park Entertainment Complex, where it has occurred ever since. Traditionally held in the spring of every year, the rodeo takes place over the course of four days. Competitions to be featured in the rodeo include bull riding, calf roping, steer wrestling and barrel racing. Attendees are also offered a number of additional attractions such as carnival rides and live music concerts.

A non-profit organization, the Young Men’s Business League donates proceeds from the event to several local charity initiatives, including scholarships and cancer research. Throughout the years, the rodeo has seen several star competitors perform, many of whom are members of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
