The Steel made it two straight after taking home the Anderson Cup in the 2020-21 season.
Like many USHL teams, Chicago Steel players usually go on to play at the NHL level. Players like John Moore and Danny Richmond went on to have lengthy NHL careers with multiple teams. Jake Chelios, son of NHL All-Star Chis Chelios, is a former Chicago Steel player who was on the Detroit Red Wings.
