Four years later, in 1995, their debut recording, Soul Food was released to critical acclaim and was subsequently certified Gold. Not one to shy away from tough issues, their album tackled political and social concerns, like gentrification, discrimination and racism. Their first single “Cell Therapy” was a hit on Billboard, reaching 39 on the Hot 100 and topping the Hot Rap Singles chart. Their third album, World Party was a departure from their signature ‘gritty’ sound. Not everyone in the group was happy about the lighter sound; CeeLo decided to go solo. T-Mo and Khujo rebranded themselves as “The Lumberjacks” and released 2005’s Livin Life as Lumberjacks.  The following year, the four of them performed together after a Gnarls Barkley show. In 2009, Goodie Mob played their first reunion concert for hometown fans in Atlanta and went on to perform at the Smoke Out festival in San Bernardino California. Goodie Mob signed with Elektra Records and released Age Against The Machine in 2013 and Survival Kit in 2020.
