Between her busy acting career, Menzel continues to produce her own music. As a singer, Mezel has released several studio albums, including her popular holiday EP, Christmas: A Season of Love. In 2022, Menzel and her sister Cara released a children's book called Loud Mouse. It is a semi-autobiographical book about a mouse named Dee who finds her own big voice. Menzel recorded "The Loud Mouse Song" to accompany the cook The sequel, Proud Mouse, was released the following year.
