He released 'Behind the Gardens - Behind the Wall - Under the Tree' (1981), 'Caverna Magica' (1983) and 'White Winds (Seeker's Journey)' (1984). 'Down to the Moon' (1987) topped Billboard's Traditional Jazz Albums chart and went to number six on the Contemporary Jazz Albums chart. 'Dancing With the Lion' (1989) reached number 52 on the Billboard 200. Compilations include 'The Essential Andreas Vollenweider' (2005) and 'Andreas Vollenweider & Friends 25 Years Live 1982-2007', which was released in 2009.
