The Tigers currently play in the NCAA Division I Southeastern Conference (SEC) and host home games at Jane B. Moore Field which has a capacity of over 2,300 spectators.
Auburn established itself quickly recording its first winning season in 2000. The team joined the SEC in 1997 and has been a consistent presence in the conference tournament with more than 18 appearances. The Tigers also won back-to-back titles in 2015 and 2016. In both years, the Tigers advanced through the NCAA Auburn Regional and Super Regional to compete in the Women's College World Series. They tied for third in 2015 and were runners-up in 2016.

Coach Clint Myers led the Tigers in their 2015, 2016 and 2017 trips to the Super Regionals. He finished with a 205-54-1 record in his four-year career with Auburn. Tina Deese was Auburn's first coach and held the reigns for 17 seasons. A few of Auburn's most decorated alumni include Branndi Melero, Emily Carosone and Kasey Cooper, who were tabbed as NFCA All-Americans. Cooper was also the 2016 ESPNW National Player of the Year.

Auburn Tigers Softball Schedule
The NCAA Division I Softball season runs from February through June. Approximately 286 schools compete at the Division I level each year. Various conferences such as the SEC and the Pac-12 routinely field teams that are highly ranked throughout the country. Washington and Arizona State typically fight for the Pac-12 title each year. In the SEC, Alabama and Tennessee finish at the top of the standings year after year. Premier events like the Texas Invitational are hosted by the University of Texas each year.
