They are most well-known for their song "Boston" as well as a studio album called All the Stars & Boulevards led by lead singer Dan Layus who remains one of only two members left in this iconic rock group!

Dan Layus, who had been studying business at Greenville University in Illinois when he met friends Josiah Rosen, Kyle Baker and Simeon Lohrmann. They decided to start writing music together after Dan wrote a song about his high school girlfriend "More than a Love Song." The origin of their name comes from the fact that they were originally known as The Looking Glass. However, after learning of another group with the same name, they changed it to Augustana. Midwest Skies and Sleepless Mondays, their first full-length debut album, was composed by Jon King. In the spring of 2003, early attention and reviews were mainly positive even though they only produced 1000 copies. Debuting at no. 96 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, their most famous album All the Stars and Boulevards was released on September 6, 2005.
