Their fourth album Fragile produced the band's biggest hit song yet with “Roundabout.” The album reached number four in the US and number seven in the UK, with “Roundabout” getting to number 13 in the US Billboard charts. Blending all styles of music from rock, jazz/blues and classical the band’s musical expertise cemented them as a prolific force among prog-rock contemporaries. 

By 1981, frontman Jon Anderson had left the band, thus beginning the revolving lineup of musicians to be part of Yes for years to come. 19 musicians can claim to have been full-time members of the band, not mentioning shorter tenured members. There have been a variety of reunions and appearances over the years, including Anderson.
