Originally called High Voltage, the band began life playing disco and funk music in the clubs and hotels throughout the Bahamas and built up a substantial local following by releasing a series of self-funded cassettes. Their big breakthrough came in 2000 with their single 'Who Let the Dogs Out'. The track began life as an Anslem Douglas song titled 'Doggie' until receiving a makeover from the Baha Men which saw it become a Grammy Award-winning international hit. The band has never repeated the success of 'Who Let the Dogs Out' but has maintained a presence on the music scene with their most recent album 'Ride With Me' released in 2015.
