Baylor has four team national championships with three coming from the Lady Bears Basketball team; their last championship came in 2019 when they defeated Norte Dame University in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. As a member of the Big 12 Conference, Baylor clashes with the University of Kansas, Iowa State University, and the University of Houston. One of their biggest rivalries is with Texas Christian University (TCU). Both teams are private religious-based universities and are separated by only a two-hour drive. Because the University sponsors so many sports teams, tickets are constantly going on sale. Baylor Football tickets go on sale in early summer while Baylor Basketball tickets go on sale in October. Spring sports like Baylor Bears softball and baseball will have their tickets released for sale in early January.

Baylor Bears has many different sports complexes. The Baylor Ballpark is home to the Baylor Bears baseball team. This stadium can hold up to 5,000 fans. The venue has hosted three NCAA regional and two super regional baseball tournaments. There is grandstand seating with a covered roof behind home plate.

At the Ferrell Center is the Paul J Meyer Arena. This indoor complex is home to the Baylor Bears Basketball and the Lady Bears Basketball teams. It also features the Baylor Volleyball squad. It has a capacity of 6,000 for volleyball and up to 12,000 for concerts.

The McLane Stadium is home to the Bears football team. The first game played at the stadium was against Southern Methodist University (SMU) in 2014. This stadium has a capacity of 45,140 fans though it can be expanded to accommodate up to 55,000.
