Settle into the smooth sounds and groovy beats with Bobby Caldwell tickets. American singer-songwriter Bobby Caldwell has had a successful career in the music business spanning more five decades. He has toured internationally for many years and has a devoted fan base worldwide, being particularly popular in Japan and throughout Asia. Coming from a musical family background, his parents were presenters of one of the first TV variety shows 'Suppertime'. Born in Manhattan, the family moved to Miami, Florida when Caldwell was young, and he was exposed to a wide variety of music there, which influenced his output as a songwriter and his versatile style as a singer which ranges through soulful R&B, to jazz and rock & roll.

He learned the guitar and piano as a child and joined the band Katmandu before signing a solo contract with TK Records. Caldwell's breakthrough track 'What You Won't Do for Love' from his debut self-titled album `Bobby Caldwell' (1978) has become an R&B classic and has been sampled and recorded by many other artists. The original reached the top ten in the Billboard R&B and Adult Contemporary Singles Charts. His second album 'Cat in the Hat' was released in 1980, followed by 'Carry On' in 1982. Popular singles from these albums were 'Coming Down from Love' from 'Cat in the Hat' and 'Jamaica' and 'All of My Love' from 'Carry On'.

In 1983, Caldwell released 'August Moon' in Japan only. It was later released in the USA, but not until the 1990s. This was followed by 'Heart of Mine' in 1989, 'Stuck On You' in 1992 and 'Where Is Love' in 1993. In addition to his studio albums, Caldwell wrote songs for many other artists including Chicago, Boz Scaggs, Peter Cetera and Amy Grant, Neil Diamond and Al Jarreau. He also composed for TV and film, including 'The Girl I Dream About' for Hillary Duff's film, 'The Perfect Man'. His performance of 'Beyond the Sea' was included as the opening theme in the film 'Lakeboat' in 2002, and the track worked so well, that director Joe Mantegna asked Caldwell to write the original song '(Oh Boy!) You've Got It Made' for the closing theme.

Caldwell released five studio albums between 1995 and 2005, all of which were popular in the Billboard Jazz Albums Chart. Between 1999 and 2001, he performed the part of Frank Sinatra in the stage musical 'The Rat Pack Is Back' in Las Vegas. He continued to release albums, with five more albums released between 2005 and 2015, including 'House of Cards' in 2012, which included the popular single 'Game On' (2012), and the album 'Cool Uncle' in 2015.
