In 1978 the group expanded their success to the US with their singles “Rasputin” and “Rivers of Babylon” off of the album Nightflight to Venus which gave them their first substantial charting success in the states.
From the 80’s on, the group underwent a number of lineup changes and versions of the group were formed by original members both with and without the blessing of Farian. A resurgence of their popularity hit in the 90’s with the release of “Boney M. Megamix” which climbed the charts in the UK and was followed by a greatest hits album.
