In 2000, he released his first studio album, Beware of Dog. By 2001, it had been certified double platinum, with over two million records sold, by the Recording Industry Association of America. Shad Moss announced the end of his rap career in 2017. He made his acting career debut in the movie Like Mike and has since made appearances in the Fast and the Furious franchise and Lottery Ticket with Ice Cube. He starred as Brody Nelson in CSI: Cyber through 2016. His most recent TV appearance was in The Masked Singer when he earned third place as the Frog.
