In 1959, he teamed up with a young Steve Miller to create the Marksmen. They also worked together in the bands The Ardells and the Fabulous Knight Trains before The Steve Miller Band was created. In 1965, Boz Scaggs released his first single album, Boz. After coming out with two albums with The Steve Miller Band and twenty-three single albums, he proved himself to be one of the best talents in the blues industry.
