In 2018, the band released its second studio album, This Too Won’t Pass, followed by several EPs and another studio album Change of Plans.
The punk rock group has been critiqued by publications like Vice News, which has praised the band saying, “Can’t Swim are collectively redefining what it means for music to be cathartic" and noted their usage of "…poignant vocals and dynamic instrumentals..." in their music.
