The indie-pop and psychedelic rock band, Cheers Elephant, was formed in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, where two members of the group were teaching music lessons at the Paul Green School of Rock in 2007. The band consists of lead singer Derek Krzywicki, who also plays guitar, drummer Robert King, “Travelin’ Matt Rothstein, who plays bass for the group and Jordan Del Rosario on lead guitar.
The band’s debut self-titled album was released in 2008 to generally favorable reviews. Their follow was Man is Nature, released in 2011. Like Wind Blows Fire followed in 2012 and was released in conjunction with performing at the Apple Store in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Go enjoy some great music that draws on inspiration from the Kings, the Beatles and Beach Boys with Cheers Elephants tickets. The band has been on multiple tours throughout the nation and also performed at the South by Southwest music festival, playing there for 12 weeks.
The group moved to Southern California in 2013. In 2014, Krzywicki left the group, which stayed as a three-piece band. Two stand-alone singles were released in 2016, followed by the album Stonemasters, released in 2017
