Hear the latest jazz styles with Christian Scott tickets. Christian Scott, who performs under the name Christian Scott Atunde Adjuah, is a composer and trumpet player from Louisiana. Born in 1983 in New Orleans, Scott was encouraged to play music by his saxophonist uncle, Donald Harrison Jr. He went on to study jazz at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, and upon graduation received a scholarship to study at Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music. While in Boston Scott played as part of the Berklee Monterey Quartet, and in 2005 was signed to Concord Music.

Through the rest of the 2000s, Scott collaborated with a number of high-profile artists, most notably with Nnena Freelon on her Grammy-nominated Blueprint of A Lady.

In 2010, Scott released Yesterday You Said Tomorrow, which earned the artist his first Edison Award.
