In the years that followed, Hutson became known for a string of online music video releases of folk-rock hits such as “Castles In The Air,” “Ghost To Coast” and “They’re Gonna Hate Me.”
In 2014 Hutson further increased his exposure through a celebrated Daytrotter session that picked up traction online. He was soon discovered by singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers, and the two began collaborating on several different projects. Hutson contributed to an EP by Bridgers’ supergroup Boygenius, as well as to her albums Better Oblivion Community Center and Punisher.
