Get to the gallery early and have your spot ready with Chubb Classic tickets. The PGA Tour Champions event the Chubb Classic is a professional men’s golf tournament held annually in February. The event has been played at a variety of courses. In 2021, the event was played for the first time at the Black course at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Fla. It was the first professional tournament played on the Black course.
The first year the tournament was run was 1988 at The Club at Pelican Bay and was called the Aetna Challenge with South African Gary Player the inaugural champion, finishing with a -9 207, finishing one stroke ahead. The first American winner was Gene Littler in 1989, finishing two strokes ahead of the competition with a -7 209.

In 1993, the event was named the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Challenge for one year before being renamed the Intellinet Challenge. The tournament has gone through several other names, including the Greater Naples Intellinet Challenge, the LG Championship and the ACE Group Classic before the tournament acquired the name the Chubb Classic.
