Formed in Indiana in 2012, Cloakroom plays a blend of space rock, doom metal and post-hardcore music. Their first release, an EP named Infinity, came out in 2013. The following year, they put out their single “Lossed Over.” Cloakroom’s debut album, Further Out, was released in 2015. In 2017, their second album came out, entitled Time Well. More recently, the band worked on their third album, Dissolution Wave, which has a cosmology theme and offers up an alternate universe.

Cloakroom members consist of Doyle Martin (vocals, guitar), Tim Remis (vocals, drums) and Bobby Markos (bass guitar). Together, they create a sound that seems to reach inside of you and speak to your deepest emotions. Singles like “Lost Meaning” and “A Force At Play” bring a unique melodic element that sets their style apart from the typical metal sound. Heavy guitars blend with a head-bobbing rhythm and smooth vocals. Their lyrics take you to an imaginary world where music is what keeps it spinning.
